Hubert Victor Whitsey (21 November 1916-25 December 1987) was an Anglican bishop. He was the Bishop of Hertford from 1971 to 1974[1] and the Bishop of Chester from 1974 to 1981.[2]
Whitsey was educated at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, Blackburn and St Edmund Hall, Oxford. After a curacy in Chorley he became the vicar of Farington and the Rural Dean of Bolton before his ordination to the episcopate.[3]
